About Nurit Wilde
Nurit Wilde is an Israeli-born photographer and socialite who migrated from Canada to LA in the mid-sixties and was closely associated with the creative Laurel Canyon community. She quickly befriended the likes of The Mamas and The Papas, David Crosby (whom she dated once), Zal Yanovsky of The Lovin’ Spoonful, Steven Stills, and much more. Among her photographic subjects were the Monkees, with whom she guest-starred in two episodes of their television series.
